Our EF Course Tutors are qualified teacher trainers who also currently work as dedicated senior teachers of English at EF's International Language Schools in England and the United States. They have experience teaching students from around the world! and are very much in touch with current trends in modern classroom practice.

Annie tiene un título universitario en Inglés, Francés y Alemán, y un Certificado de Postgrado en Educación (Inglés y Drama). Ha vivido en Francia y trabajó en una escuela británica estatal enseñando Inglés y Francés antes de entrar en TESOL. Tiene un título en Enseñanza de Inglés como Idioma Extranjero y una Maestría en Enseñanza de Inglés.
In addition, Annie is a published ELT author for Penguin and Cambridge University Press- her latest publications include "Advance Your English" and "Objective CAE". Annie is also a Team Leader for the Cambridge University TESOL Speaking tests, Chair of Proficiency Listening test and she also writes for the Cambridge ESOL exams. She has worked as a teacher trainer for EF in Cambridge, Brighton, Italy, Mexico and Thailand, and for Cambridge University in many countries throughout the world.
Beata Schmid supervisa todos los programas académicos de las Escuelas Internacionales de Idiomas EF y disfruta enseñando en los programas de Adiestramiento para Profesores. Posee un Ph.D. en Lingüística de la Brown University en Estados Unidos, y ha estado enseñando idiomas, incluyendo Inglés, por más de 25 años. Sus áreas de mayor interés son apoyo y adiestramiento para profesores, pronunciación, aprendizaje de idiomas asisitido por computador y la historia de la enseñanza de idiomas y del idioma Inglés, así como dialectología.
Siendo ella misma un producto de intercambio cultural, Beata continúa viviendo la experiencia de la enseñanza de idiomas y la inmersión hospedando a estudiantes de bachillerato; actualmente un estudiante alemán vive con su familia en Massachusetts.
Crispin tiene un B.A en Politica internacional hispana y un diploma en Manejo de la enseñanza de idiomas de DELTA y UCLES. El trabajó entre 1991 y 2002 para el Instituto Anglo Mexicano de Cultura como Supervisor Académico en varias localidades en Mexico con cursos para todas las edades, particularmente cursos de Inglés de Negocios. El se integró a EF Cambridge en el 2002 y desde entonces ha enseñado para los programas de ILS, AY & Brittin Colleges, particularmente cursos de exámenes de alto nivel y ha participado como entrenador en los programas de entrenamiento para profesores. Fue Director de programa para Junior Summer Course en el 2005.
Bella began her career as an EFL teacher when she first came to Mexico as part of placement on a degree in Latin American Studies 20 years ago, and has never looked back! She later took the CELTA, CELTYL and DELTA teaching qualifications; in addition she is a tutor on the Cambridge ICELT teacher training course. More recently she worked at the British Council in Mexico City as senior teacher Marketing and Customer CareShe has had experience of teaching all levels of English to children, adolescents and adults, both in the classroom and on distance/online courses. She has also collaborated in the planning and delivering of teacher training courses, which she feels are very rewarding as she always learns a lot from her students. She is particularly interested in learner styles, bilingualism, Customer Service excellence and the impact of self esteem on learning. She is currently Assistant Director of studies at EF Brighton.
Rena tiene un B.A. en Estudios Soviéticos y Rusos, un M.A. en Ruso y un M.Ed. en TESOL. Ella ha enseñado en EF International School of English en Boston desde 2001 y disfruta enseñar inglés a través de la música y diversos aspectos del vocabulario. Ella ha sido además entrenador de profesores desde 2002 y tiene varias posiciones administrativas incluido Director Académico. Ha enseñado ESL y Ruso en Central Connecticut State University, University of Massachusetts, Amherst, Brown University, entre otros colleges y escuelas de idiomas privadas.
Our Teacher Education and Training in Munich is conducted by Sonja Hirsch. Sonja has an M.A. in German and English and is also fluent in French and Spanish. She has travelled in many different countries and has organized language teachers’ workshops in different parts of the world. She has been teaching German as a Foreign Language to various age groups at the EF International Language School in Munich for more than 10 years. Her students enjoy her lively and colourful lessons and the variety of interesting communicative activities she brings to the classroom. A particular favourite is an animated, interactive presentation of Germany’s literary and historical background.
