La vida en San Diego gira en torno a la playa, y con razón. Pocos sitios hay en Estados Unidos tan bellos como la costa de esta ciudad del sur de California. Turismo y cultura

Hay docenas de maravillosas playas donde elegir, desde las orillas llenas de surfistas en Del Mar a los arrecifes repletos de peces de La Jolla Cove. Para ver la vida marina más de cerca, visita Sea World o el mundialmente famoso Zoo de San Diego, que alberga más de 4.000 especies singulares o en peligro de extinción. El histórico casco viejo muestra el ingente patrimonio cultural de San Diego, con sus más de 30 museos en el centro de la ciudad.

En San Diego tienen por norma sacar las tiendas a la calle, por lo que encontrarás muchos centros comerciales al aire libre. Fashion Valley, Carlsbad Premium Outlets y Horton Plaza están entre los mejores.

Deportes y actividades al aire libre

Los habitantes de San Diego hacen surf desde antes de que se pusiera de moda. ¡Sus olas siguen siendo legendarias! Ocio y vida nocturna

Algunas noches te contentarás con pasar el rato con tus amigos en una hoguera en la playa o junto a la piscina del campus, pero si quieres realizar una salida nocturna más sofisticada, te recomendamos el distrito de Gaslamp, un barrio histórico de 16 manzanas lleno de restaurantes, bares y clubes nocturnos.
